Hungry No More, the independent food bank based at the GL3 Community Hub in Churchdown, is delighted to announce that it has received significant funding from the Severn Trent Community Fund to support its work with households across Churchdown, Innsworth, Longford and Longlevens.

This funding comes at a crucial time, as demand for food support continues to grow. In 2025 alone, Hungry No More provided essential food, toiletries, and household items to hundreds of local people facing financial hardship.

The grant from the Severn Trent Community Fund will enable Hungry No More to:

• Increase the availability of fresh and nutritious food items
• Strengthen support for households experiencing crisis, including those with no recourse to public funds
• Improve volunteer capacity and operational resilience
• Continue offering a dignified, choice-based model that empowers clients and reduces stigma

Hungry No More operates with a small team of dedicated volunteers, trustees, and community partners, and this funding will directly support the charity’s mission to provide dignified, compassionate support to anyone who needs it.
